TITLE: Healthcare Application Project Manager

TYPE: Contract to perm - 6 months to perm

OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION:

 

The ideal candidate will have a background working with clinical applications and departments. This position will be working directly with clinical departments and will be responsible for keeping the costs and scope within budget for various projects.

 

This position performs either complex business analysis or data analysis and is highly skilled in the areas of production support coordination, IT project management and project management support.

 

This position reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Also, this position mentors other employees, provides business expertise/leadership to IT staff, appropriately manages client expectations related to the project constraints and impending change. Performs other related duties as required.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Four years of application systems/administration experience OR six years experience without a degree
  • Must be proficient in at least three of the following areas: business analysis, production support coordination, IT project management, project support or data administration and analysis. Must be able to lead, engage and mentor others. Must have good business skills. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
