Project Manager

Position Description:
Looking for a highly skilled PM with Infrastructure and SAN Storage project experience.
- Candidate must have specific knowledge of managing large infrastructure projects. - Must have experience Project Managing large SAN infrastructure deployments (Storage frames, SAN switch) and host migrations.
- Candidate will need to have experience driving infrastructure engineering teams to meet the project objectives, timelines, etc. Not looking for an application PM or looking for someone to just write minutes and setup meetings. - Must be proficient with EMC & other Storage products
- Graduate degree preferred - At least 6 years of Project Management experience with at least 2 years on Storage remediation projects - PMP & ITIL certifications preferred.
- Candidate will need to be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills, Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating, defining, staffing, and managing one or multiple projects in the Storage Remediation area.
- The Project Manager would work across the Business, Infrastructure Management Group, Application teams, Strategic partners, 3rd party vendors & other technical teams to ensure the delivery of a high quality project.
- The PM would be the primary point of contact with management and various technical personnel on the project from inception through completion.
- Work with the project sponsors to oversee delivery performance, ensure delivery quality and report schedule, cost and execution performance.

Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
Required to develop detailed project plans & schedules for Storage Tech Refresh (remediations, migrations and decommissioning).
Submits project status reports in RPM, Remedy, and SharePoint.
Consults with technical resources when needed.
Coordinate and conducts project status meetings, sends out agendas and meeting minutes
Manage resources in all phases of the project in a highly matrixed organization.
